just got my qx9300 installed!!!!!

so far only thing i did, at stock clock was run WEI. the t9400 went from 6.1 to a 7.2 with the new chip. I used OCZ freeze on the new chip and my northbridge. Ill post more results in a bit when i do some tests and the go to OC it.

yes the bios is locked unless you flash it to the ocz or similar bios

 

i have ocz bios. my smr 2.0 code is lower, i think when i did the catalyst beta from ati it got screwed up. the processor and smr 3.0 scores are 1000 points higher but 2.0 is 1k points higher. i cant find my reg code for the ati drivers at the moment to clean it.

 

Also i paid less than alienware wanted for it when i purchased it, i paid about 1000 dollars.

 

ati whql drivers from my info are officially in the hands of flex and we should start to see them soon

Ok, so at 3.07 ghz on all four cores i got 15591. i know i can get faster too. without oc and an odly low sm2.0, i got a 139xx. need to do some more tweaking to get it faster. Or some 4870's. im gonna wait until the new bios comes out before i up the clock more due to voltages.

i have had the quad up to 3.5 so far without issue for 3dmark. not sure how long it would run that high but it was perfectly stable for a 3dmark run..

 

well i need to reinstall windows 7 64. Im on 32 bit since thats the only one i have on disk. I messed up 64 bit by trying to install the AMD/ATI CCC win7 beta drivers. I need to get my code for my code for driver cleaner so i can use it again

Im running at default settings and using the drivers supplied with windows 7 32. im about to reinstall 64 bit now that i got some blank dvds

i just finished installing 64 bit. for some reason the hot fix wont take from windows download, but i score around the same in 3dm06. wish i could get vantage to work.

Also i got some OCZ freeze, about a 4-5 degree Celcius difference than the artic silver 5+, i also polished the plates with some 2500 grit sand paper and used a thin layer of the freeze.
