There are a ton of people here using the M11x and Orochi combo (with some of us having the Kabuto mat too).

It's a great mouse. Just do a forum search and you should find people talkin about it.

Yep I highly recommend the Razer Orochi. Such a nice travel and gaming mouse.

I found a lot of stuff on the Razor but not much on the Logitech. I had 2 Logitech mouse die on me in like in 2 or 3 years so I kind of 2nd guessing them.

Anyone here using the Logitech Anywhere M905 mouse? Your thoughts?

If you like 'em small, I guess Orochi is nice. I used that kind of mouse a little bit on my girlfriends laptop (she had a small pink mouse, mini-size like Orochi)... uh and couldn't stand it even for 15 mins.

Also not sure how bluetooth works while gaming. If I was buying a travel gaming mouse I'd go for Razer Naga. I just can't picture where would I have room to use Orochi and not something bigger. (certainly not on buses and on the airplane in economy class seats I am buying :p )

I have the Orochi and can't say I'm a huge fan of it. The way I hold a mouse may be different than you do though, I grip the sides and use my finger tips for the mouse buttons while gaming. The sides of the Orochi are very slick and there isn't much to hold onto if you lift and recenter the mouse often. I do like the Bluetooth and the cord works perfectly, the size of the mouse is also very good for portability. I will probably apply some grip tape to the sides or attempt to sand the glossy surface? But this is a issue for me and the way I hold the mouse, which may not be a problem for others.

I use a Razer mamba which I like cause it can be wireless and wired. When I travel I use a logitech anywhere mouse which is nice and portable. Also use a logitech g9x. All great mice but for portability and use on reflective surfaces can't beat the logitech anywhere mouse.

I use the Logitech Anywhere MX which is the same as your M905 I belivee, just different branding for us. Its a really great mouse, perfect for traveling, gaming is ok on it and the flywheel is awesome. its a great travel companion and comes with a good case. Best mouse imo.

G500 + Orachi is what I have, best combination IMO. I use the g500 for my desktop replacement M17x-R2, and the orachi for my mobile area-51 m15x.

I picked the Orochi recently and have to agree on several points: It's freaking small, I was using the AW mouse, and the sides are very slick. It's like trying to hold onto polished glass. I am still debating if I want to keep the mouse or return it because those are two big let downs. I guess if you have small hands it would be alright but I can just about spread one hand across the M11x keyboard so the mouse size is painfully noticable (heavy emphasis on the pain) after gaming for at least an hour. However, it is nice to stick in the front sleeve pocket and the batteries last a long time with it. In fact after one week haven't replaced them yet.

I also have the Logitech Anywhere MX and I love it! It just works... everywhere!! slick looking, good size, and the Nano transmitter is second to none.

I have to agree, I like the Anywhere MX. I just thought the Razor Orochi would be a nicer mouse since it offered Bluetooth (1 more usb port open) and offered wired mode for gaming. I have modified my Orochi tonight by using 600 grit wet/dry sand paper on the sides (use painters tape to mask areas you don't want sanded) and lightly took off the gloss on the sides. This has made a night and day difference for me! The finish looks the same as the top of the mouse if your curious.

Another Anywhere MX owner here. Nothing but good things to say about this mouse.

Works on any surface thicker than 4mm, awesome build quality, great weight, and has a fantastic carrying case that's very snug. Not to mention the nano receiver is so small it really is one of those plug it in and forget it type things.
Logitech AUS support must be different from USA?

I've had one Logitech mouse die on me after 2.5 years of use. I emailed Logitech and the next day they shipped me a brand new replacement free of charge.

That's actually how I got my Anywhere MX. My VX Revolution broke and since they no longer make the mouse they upgraded me to the Anywhere MX.
