Alright so I discovered recently that my m15x was having trouble coming out of sleep mode (it'd crash) and my control panel wouldn't work much either. And some games I had needed fresh installs, so I reinstalled windows (as recommended by AW after trying numerous other things) well after hours and hours and reinstalling windows/drivers etc everything is fine except the alienware words above the power button will not illuminate after some effort my tech support rep said it needs a new mobo and to send it in for a week or so. I don't want to if I can avoid it, any thoughts?

Great, I figured as much. One thing I noticed is in the fx software for some reason the alienware name has two bars of selection while everything else has one? Also I have not been able to install the lightpipe patch it always fails

This really sucks only one month in and I need a new mobo/lights

that does suck, otaku. idk about the lights, but i suppose if the AW guy says you have to send it in, you really have to... because i don't think you can just replace the TC lights like a keyboard or something. bad luck, mate. :(

hey hong! long time no see. Business is the same as always, which is to say slow still hoping things will pick up but I doubt it, the business has really become more of a hobby. Wish I had the parts id fix this thing myself (pretty sure I've located the part) think they'd send me a mobo?

Oh well they get it tomorrow. argh
