    haven't you (like me) read all over this forum that for some reason you need to put the daughter card and master card in specific locations for the m9750 to boot/work?

    and that swapping them would not work... or am I wrong?

    sorry. I am so busy. I'm not on the forum as much. But in my whitebook. There was master/slave socket and the cards or master/slave. I know that you can use a master/master card. It will boot. And I know if you put a slave in the master slot, it won't boot. But I never used a master card in the slave port to see if it would boot.

    but with my sager np9262, my nvidia card (the 9800m gtx single card. I never had a second card in there.) was in the daugther card. It always booted up.(just food for thought)

    ati=(master/slave)
    nvidia=(parent/daugther)

    in your sitution I would just used a master bios in both. There's nothing to worry about. If anything, it would better parent/parent the to use parent/dauther.

    I haven't seen a sli laptop with two different bios. So I believe that's why you haven't gotten it already.

    " I know that you can use a master/master card." => would mean master 1 in master port + master 2 in slave port right?

    " But I never used a master card in the slave port to see if it would boot." => ???

    your 2 sentences kind ok are akward...

    But will try though...
