    Hey guys, Just wondering something.

Im wanting to upgrade my 2gb stock ram to 4gb.

Would 1 stick or ram be more power efficient then two sticks?

I ask this because I can buy one 4gb stick instead of 2 x 2GB and if needed i can buy another in the future for 8gb. If its more power efficient with 1 stick of ram then I think thats the way ill go

I think the power would be so negligable you wouldnt notice it.
Also the laptop would run in single channel mode, as far as I am aware thats about a 5% decrease in performance.

I would buy the 2x2gb now then buy 2x4gb when the price drops to a sensible level.
