How come sometimes when i come back to my laptop and reopen the lid..after just leaving it closed for a couple of hours..
    it says its resuming windows..
then i'm just stuck in a black screen with a blinking line at the top like i'm suppose to type something when i can't even type :( ..

it stays like this and the only thing i could do is restart by holding the power button :/

Disable hibernate and this wont happen. what is going on is you close the lid, it goes to sleep/standby... after 30 minutes it wakes itself up and hibernates with the lid closed, which goofs up everything.

I've had this happen on various laptops.

From what I've been reading it appears to be a graphics driver issue.

There is a thread on this already. It is display driver related. Long standing issue which has surfaced from time to time with NV Display driver versions. Wait for the next version - remember, this is the first Intel/NV Hybrid driver so it will take some time for NV to get it right.

Please continue in the other thread. Thanks.
