    m14x vs m17x

    These are two very different laptops. The m14x is around the size of a 15in laptop, and weighs similar. It is a mix of portability and power. The m17x is far less powerful, around 9.5lbs and quite big (I know from personal experience). For power, the m17x w/6970m should be able to max out all current gamings (probably no AA on tougher titles). The m14x will be able to play them at med-high settings without much trouble.

    This all really boils down to if you are willing to trade portability for power.
