Just received my m15x today and have spent the best part of 6 hours on the phone to Technical Support trying to resolve an issue.

The lighting behind the Alienware logo (the word "Alienware" just below the screen) is not working in normal use.

All the colours work perfectly fine in the AlienFXTester (current board version is 1.00.22). I'm running Command Center Bundle 1018 and have tried it also using Bundle 1017.

Command Center has been un-installed and re-installed multiple times, and I've also run "dotnetfx35" and "m17x_RIPLEY_model" downloads on the advice of Technical Support.

Any ideas what the problem is?

    Many thanks in advance :)

Does it light at all and you can't change the color or is it completely dark? If your desperate I can refer you to this thread and suggest you install the light weight program findvikas has devised. Make sure to follow the guide to patch CC first. The guide is linked to in the red at the top.

PS: I would use this program anyway because it takes up less resources and is faster.

It doesn't light at all during normal use or when creating/editing any theme.

But the lights all work fine when running the AlienFXTester.

Yes, I have upgraded to SP1.

Not had time to try the solutions above yet, but will give them a go later!
