So I got me the Hybrid-Harddisk for the Smartbay of the m15x.

Unfortunately no manual came with it, so I do not have any idea how to use the additional functionality.

    Any advice?

Only Vista can make use of hybrid hard drives through a feature called ReadyDrive, which allows Vista to cache files onto it. I am not sure how you can take advantage of a hybrid hard drive that does not have an OS on it . . .

Ok, but how would I now activate the Hybrid with my m15x?

I have Vista installed on my internal Harddrive, so how would I activate the Cache of the Hybrid Drive in the Smartbay to make actually use of it?

don't you think it's always "activated", i.e. it's always working?
