I noticed that the Quick-Access Buttons deactivate when my m15x recovers from Sleep Mode. This does not happen when I use Hibernate.

    Any cure for this behavior?

There is not currently a fix. Alienware is working on this problem.

do we need to update the bios tp fix this? and if so, do we have to ring alienware and do it with them? or can we just do it on own?

and yes, you can do it on your own without invalidating your warranty (as told by AW-Frank, or Steve, one of the two said it ;) )

ok cool, what is the procedure for updating, i presume when you download the updated bios you get the software to install it as well? i might just ring alienware when i do it anyway just to be sure, dont want to run the risk of messing anything up?

You have to use the included (with the m15x) Nero software to burn a CD. If you look up in the AW support files they walk you through this stage. Once that process is done (don't be scared if you get a "Burn failed" message, lots of people get it and things still go ok) then you restart the computer and boot it via CD (press F12 at startup to choose the CD). The process will then handle itself and the computer will restart, at which point you're done.

I thought that too for the longest time till MrDJ and someone else suggested that X32 had fixed it. I hadn't tried it since X29 (the first BIOS), so I didn't know about it right away, but when I tested it the problem had indeed gone away.
