    Hi,

Hopefully I can get attention of the aliewnare crew. But I have been noticing a BIG decrease in performance (especially with games). And it seems to be my hard drive. I downloaded HDD life pro, and its saying my hdd life and performance is at 34%.
Apparently my Raw Read error rate, is at 50%, and my seek error rate is at 34%, and spin up time at 80%.

Does that mean I am eligible for a new HDD?

I have no credit on my phone, so I can't ring them :p.

    Thanks

    credit on your phone?

    wow, ghetto man.

but yeah, probably... your S.M.A.R.T. status is probably bad... so no worries... if you wanna 'ring' them, they do have a 1-800 number. give that a 'ring'.

Nah, I seriously doubt its the smart status. I have noticed alot of performance decrease. I cant play games anymore, not even at the lowest of settings. Because it lags (jumps).

Oh wow. I didn't see this thread when I replied in the other one. You should ask for a replacement-- and I'd start backing up data at this point.

Everytime I ring, they don't pickup. I get the "all personell are busy" and then i just get d/c.

I will do a ghost backup now. Anyone know any free decent software that takes an image of your drive so I can restore it when i get my new one?

Click on the Error tab in HDTune and run that. It will take some time but will let you know if you have any bad sectors. ALso click on the Health tab and see what it says.
