    Hey ppl I have an M15X 8700M GT,C2D @ 2.4 Ghz, 1gb ram :( , still cool :)

Well I have a few questions
1st. Is it cool to have the 8700M GT at 700/900 at 83-85 C'? Edit: Btw, it only heats up to that temp when playing crysis on VH
2nd.Can you controll the fan speed on m15x?
3rd.Its my 1st laptop....can you OC the ram or CPU?

Kind of newbie questions :p but still can you guys help?

Oh and I don't have a console on crysis....you guys know why?

Im not sure about the first two but @ the 3rd. You do not want to do this because it will void your warranty and considering there have been some problems lately with the m15x that would not be a good thing to do incase you ever have to send it back or what not.

The Crysis problem is caused by the three Microsoft MCIR Keyboard drivers. If you go into Device Manager and uninstall them the console in Crysis will appear. This isn't a fault of the m15x but any computer with an infrared port.

you can OC the 8700M GT at 700/900 with no problems the fans speed up automatically at 83 C' and keep the VGA at 80-85 nothing critical :)

putting in memory will NOT void your warrenty however alienware is not responsible for problems caused by the memory or problems with the memory itself.
