Hello everyone, was running windows update a while ago, when I noticed that an update for the 8800M GTX was available. I chose to update, and got driver version 179.67 from the Windows Update.

Has anyone else tried this driver? First impressions so far are the high idle temps this driver gives. I was getting 40+ degrees on 177.98 and this one gives me 70 degrees on idle. Anyhow, just wanted to share for those who wanted to give it a try ;)

These drivers seem not to downclock automatically when on idle, thus causing the high idle temps. But, they were pretty stable when I gamed with them before shipping my m15x in for repairs.
