First, thanks for the help on my upgrading to Windows 7 issue. As it turns out, trying to do the upgrade was a horrible idea and Microsoft has been hit with thousands of identical issues of people trying to 'upgrade' their OS. Sucks so bad.
I have the Nvidia 9800M GT graphics card in my m15x and I've never been able to get the sound to work. I used alienware support and they had me reinstall all my drivers, but on two seperate TVs I can only get video to show. I have done tons of googling and it seems like something related to SPDIF might be the case, but I'm just not tech savvy enough to understand exactly what I need to do to make the audio also work through the HDMI.
Hopefully there's an easy answer.
Thank you,
Just Tray

Simply put you can't, I dont think the 8800MGTX /9800M GT (Same thing) supports Audio over HDMI. Sorry.

As said above, the 8800MGTX doesn't support audio over HDMI. Simply put, you can't. In fact, I don't think many (if any at all) nVidia cards support audio over HDMI...whereas ATi cards do.
m15x 9800GT has HDMI audio?
