    Hi all,

I really need some help - I did a clean install of Win 7 X64 but I can't find any dirvers for my 9800m GT that work.

The last set of drivers that worked for me under win7 x64 were the 186.81's. I've looked on laptopvideo2go and can't find the 186.81's anymore, I can't find any other drivers that work - 187.xxs, 188.xxs, 191.xxs and 195.xxs. The 187s and 188s don't seemed to have the right .infs or simply aren't compatable with 9800m GT and all the 191s and 195s crash my machine. I always boot to safe mode and run drivercleaner before reinstalling new dirvers, too. So now I'm left with no drivers at all.

Can anyone let me know what the most recent stable drivers for the m15x and 9800m GT are and where I can find them? If not can anyone post a link to the 186.81s? It'd be a really big help.

    Many thanks!

    Thanks, Cha! You're a legend. Don't know why I couldn't find them ...

I used powermizer switch with the 81s and worked a fine but good to have the downclocking integrated. Have you tried the 186.84s? No good?

    Thanks again

Drivers are 'temprarily down' ... that's why I couldn;t get them before. Any idea how often this happens and how long before they're back?

    Fantastic, thanks again Cha.

The only difference between the 81s and 82s is the integrated powermizer feature?

Why'd you go back to 186.82? Is performance better or was it just for the integrated powermizer?

Performance mostly, as I was getting some stuttering on some of my games with .84, can't really remember which though.

Performance wise, .81 and .82 have been more or less equal in my experience.

    Good luck with that btgman
