I think I may have found a fix for the m15x audio popping. Most of the songs that I've played that used to pop no longer have that popping sound (on 100% volume, of course.) Before I post the fix, I need to verify whether the fix really did work or not. Can someone throw me a song that normally "pops" for them on their m15x? Any random song will do. The more the song pops for you, the easier it is for me to verify whether this fix worked.

Any songs uploaded and posted here should not be left here for more than 24 hours due to piracy reasons. Please remember that this is for testing reasons only.

    Thanks,
    Oceanus.

just look for the song on youtube. that way it can be left here for more than 24 hrs i guess. since you didnt upload it and you dont have it on your comp since you only streamed it.

The audio quality on youtube music is bad to begin with. I need something that was supposed to be good quality but was popping anyway because of the m15x.

hmm.. what's your solution to the popping, i've tried updating and rolling back the drivers with no positive results.

Ah, I wasn't able to do any conclusive testing with what I had in mind at the time. You can currently fix the audio popping issue by reverting back to the X32 BIOS. Please read this thread for more details.

hey, just in case you're interested, i found a solution for the popping that works with the x34 bios, worked for me anyways. i just downloaded the driver wdm_r199 for the realtek hd audio sound card and it stopped both the popping and skipping during playback for both mp3's and movies.

I recall posting about that specific driver in the latency thread. Glad to hear it works for you! I've never bothered trying it because I've already had the X32 BIOS to fix the issue.
