    Hey,
Yesterday I got my m15x back - working with a free upgrade to the 1920x1200 screen, however they couldn't get into my HDD bios, and neither can I. So i rang tech support, dead helpful i can't believe it, couldn't of asked for more help. He said he was totall bewildered why this was happening, especially if I definately knew the password for it, he said he will go and ask his colleagues and he would ring back in 20mins, which he did!

Slightly annoyed at the 1920x1200 screen because it's not glossy, but gawd it's a good resolution! It looks stunning, I think I will keep it ;)

HOWEVER now to the problem, I downloaded the command center, ran through the install process and it asked me for
    "m15x" and
"m15x LW (or RW)" Can't rememeber.
I chose m15x, however it doesn't let me change my keyboard at all, and it turns it off. What do I do?

    Thanks

    Napbree,

Go under the Theme menu in AlienFX and create a new theme... that should allow you to control the keyboard lighting again.

If not, you'll need to uninstall Command Center, apply the Ripley keyboard patch and then reinstall it, and create a new theme.

II spent my entire weekend fighting that exact same issue (switched to Vista64)... After about 13 hours I figured out what was going on.

Did you try to uninstall in safe mode?

Yes windows 7 will be the culprit. Use findvika's program for all your lighting needs.
