could i send in my laptop to get my 8700m gt upgraded to the new 9800m gt that alienware used to replace the 880m gtx?
and i have 32 bit vista and i want to upgrade my RAM so am i better off using getting 4gb of RAM and throwing it now or should i clean install 64 bit then sticking it in then because i heard 64 bit takes up more RAM then 32 bit and that its not even worth going for 64 bit?

I'm not sure where you heard that from but a 64-bit OS is the only kind that can fully use all 4 GB of RAM. If you put in 4GB of RAM with only a 32-bit OS only about 3.2GB of it will be used. In that case, base your decision on whether or not you are putting in 4GB of RAM and if you want to pay for 64-bit and utilize all 4GB of it.

As far as the GPU goes, call Roswell or PM Alienware-Armando or Alienware-James about it.

i know that but i heard 64 bit takes up more RAM then 32 bit which takes off the actual RAM i put in and does the difference really matter?

It depends on what you're doing. Me, personally, I've never exceeded 79% usage. I do a lot of gaming and image/video editing. I actually can't think of anything off the top of my head that would take 100% of my RAM.
