From recent reviews, I've heard Alienware fixed all the design and cooling flaws, including fixing the creaking, wobbly screen. If we can get a few people to confirm this, we can finally know if the m15x is finally the machine it was meant to be from the start and put an end to the bad rep around Alienware. Even though Alienware has been fixing issues, I still see everyone that knows about the m15x asking or making a comment about the problems it has.

Wait what? Alienware fixed everything literally overnight? From bad cooling to screen wobbling? Sounds too good to be true IMHO but lets hope the best :3

    edit:
Btw why start a new thread if there is already another almost similar around? A pretty good sum up of the current status of the m15x: The "Why you shouldn't buy the M15x" thread!
I'm shure, if there are official statements about changes or improvements about any issues present, this thread gets updated. (And TBH I think as long as here are only made guesses based on some rumors and one or two reviews, this thread helps no one and may even be misleading!).

And please don't get me wrong, I don't want to be an aw-basher or constantly badmouth the m15x, but as long as we haven't seen e.g. images of a new heatsink-revision or proof of a revised case or an official saying "the issues have been investigated and fixed!", I don't believe aw hase done anything at all (yet)...

    Greetings,
    crizzler

That's completely wrong... But well. People can believe what they want... I received my laptop 3 weeks ago and there was nothing they done to fix anything. I mean, in the UK the laptops are still shipped with the freaking X30 Bios. That's how much they fix things...

In the US, all of the recent reviews say that haven't had any of the problems other people have been having, so I want to try to see who hasn't been having this problems with their new m15xs.

Oh really? Maybe I missed all those positive US reviews then.

Trust me, if AW would have done something, they would have said. It all comes down to a very simple issue. You notice it or you don't.
Performance wise, the laptop has no problem (appart from extreme processors). It warms up a lot, but it performs amazingly.
But it's not only about speed... this is a laptop, not a drag racing car.

Edit: Crizzler's edit said it all. And yes... I think starting another thread on this is quite a waste of bandwith.
Edit2: If it wasn't for my GPU warming up to 107C I would still be in love with the M15x, so I'm not trying to bash anyone here. I just want facts, not big flashy sentences. I just want people to see and not be deceived...

Yeah, I would also agree that I'm suspicious. Very few reviews at any point have been able to identify these systematic issues, so the fact they aren't now isn't really indicative of anything.

I think having a Tread that has FAQ. Might help more then "Why you shouldn't buy the M15x" thread! Which only Shows the bad Things That Might have already been fix.

If there General issues with Everyone has like Camra or speakers. This would be worth Posting.

So does this mean that most of the problems have been fixed? Mine is set to come June 30.

nothing wrong with m15x performance.. it's the crappy build quality which including but not limiting to webcam & mic quality, keyboard responsiveness, cheap plastic, bad touchpad (too adhesive) and alienfx light bleeding.. ETC.
