So the only thing I've changed over the past two days are:

I updated my video drivers to 179.13 off of laptopvideo2go.com
    -and-
I updated Vista with the latest security updates.

I'm running the m15x in my signature, with the preloaded Vista 32bit. All other drivers are up to date but have not been changed in the last two weeks.

Now I'm having an issue while watching videos. My sound does a short "loop" a lot like what happens when your listening to music and you hit fn+f8 to eject the cd tray, except its a bit shorter. I've tried it in two programs as well..

I also notice while running the DPC Driver Latency Checker that my driver latency jumps to over 35000 when the sound loops.

Is anybody else having issues with this? Could it be the 179.13 video drivers causing this?

I think I'm gonna try rolling back my video drivers and see if this helps. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I also noticed that my driver latency went down a bit when I disabled my wireless card (I usually do that when I'm wired anyways).

Update: I rolled back my video driver and immediately my driver latency went from ~1000-1200 average with spikes over 35k, to ~200-1000 with no spikes over 1100.

I guess my only question left is is anybody else having an issue with this driver? Can somebody else that has installed this driver run the DPC Latency CHecker and see if your having similar spikes?

    Thanks.
