What do you use with your m15x? Mice, keyboards, etc. Also what cases or bags do you use to carry your m15x from place to place.

I ask these to just get a feel for some different m15x owners setups.

I myself really only use a logitech mx518 mouse and am in the market for a nice case to carry this behemoth around in.

order the orion backpack..its quite good.. as far as other peripherals are concerned, i would probably use my G5 gaming mouse while gaming..and just use the touch pad for normal use..i would also suggest keeping the m15x in that sleeve it came in, and then putting it in the backpack/carrying case

I didn't receive mine yet, but i currently use a logitech G5 mouse and it's great, i bought a mobile edge express backpack for around 25$ (a lot cheaper than the orion, and doesn't have STEALME written all over it)
Also bought the targus defcon CL lock on ebay for about 12 bucks as well

i used a targus when i had a laptop several years ago.
like Duck said - less of a target when you use something other then the Orion from AW. (not saying it would make you one for sure, but you up your odds)
mouse depends on use...if your a heavy gamer, then look to razor, logitech G-series, or a few others. if your not a heavy gamer, then your basic mouse will be just dandy.
i never used an xternal keyboard so on that i can not help ya.
keep the sleeve like yemo said and utilizt that at all times (cpet when using the 15....lol)
the type of carrying device is really up to you - they have backpacks, briefcases, messenger bags, and other styles.
    hope this helps.

The best Mouse I found so far is the Logitech MX5000 It comes with a mouse and keyboard.

    Mouse has
    3 buttons on the side
2 buttons above and below the wheel
3 Buttons for the Wheel. push down and push right and left and wheel up and down.
    2 Normal mouse buttons.

Which works great in Lord of the rings.

Keyboard has a built in caculator, Temp, Stero controls and tons of other controls.

I'm using a spiffy, inconspicuous Dicota laptop bag, some JBL speakers, a Logitech Dualshock 2 (or something like that, I can never remember the name) and of course the mouse to rule them all, the mighy Logitech G5 Refresh

oh, and of course my LEGO notebook stand :D

haha the M17X you dont need LEGOs for laptop coolers. Child game for us. The laptop cooler I have dont work on the M17x due to the fan blow downword. So the keyboard stay warm but not hot. The laptop cooler is not hot.

it's not a cooler, mate. it just raises the notebook off the desk, improving the airflow underneath. which would help with your m17x too. :)

haha whizzo I dont think you need LEGO for the M17X for the air flow is from the top not from the bottem.

Here how the M17x cool it self. Air flow blows down into the laptop and blows the heat out from the whole back of the laptop.

Here how the M15X and m5550 cools it self is blow from the bottem and blows out the rear. Which bring the keyboard being warm.

The same laptop cooler I have for the m5550 laptop I use for the M17X laptop and the laptop cooler is useless. It slightly warm 75f not 90f like it was on the M5550

If you felt the vents from the bottem and from the top you feel air blow from the top of the laptop. If you touch the laptop cooler a nexus laptop cooler it cold to the touch. The game I played where space empire V which is a cpu power hungry game %90 of the cpu use. Lord of the rings which is gpu useage. The laptop cooler was cool to the touch.

When you pull the gpus and look at the cpu the fans are on top not like the M15X where they are on the bottem if you can check support on Alienware you will understand.

Bag: Currently just using my old Inspiron 9300 carrying case, until i find a new one that I like for the m15x.

Hey Exiled, are you using the 15" or 17" zeroshock sleeve? The reason i ask is because i am still looking for a good sleeve and one of my friends told me about them.

Well I'll probably use my aw sleeve and I love the mousepad. I use a G5 mouse at my desk to game. Probably going to get a VX nano or a bluetooth mouse for when I'm out and about (college) for now I have an old dell laptop that should suffice for transport I think. I dunno cause soon I will have tons of books to move to....

Also picked up a smart bay battery 6 cell to double the life should be able to make it through a full day of school now

$$$ just keep flowing from my account :(
