    Hey guys,

First time poster long time reader =D and I would like to say hi to all.

First of all I would like to by a laptop to replace my desktop completely, and I’m choosing an alienware product cause I like how they finish them all off nicely and all the small little touches they do to make them unique. I’m wanting the laptop to last a long time without having to upgrade as its alot $$$ invested. It will be mainly use for gaming and I’m waiting for some games to come out SWTOR, Starcraft2, and Diablo3. So I want them to handle those games as we don't know the performance requirements needed to run them. I was looking at an m15x but then I decided to play around with specing a m17x I would like your opinions on each that I have spec'ed. I know the m17x will be better but it also has the higher $$$. All opinions welcomed =D

    M17x i have speced up!

Well, if its replacing a desktop, it probably wont get moved around a lot, so the M17x should be the better choice do it its larger screen and more powerful graphics card

Do my spec's look alright on each laptop? I chose the ATI in the m15x as what i hear its slightly better with directx11 and gddr5??? I just want to make sure i have the best graphic card chosen on each. i would of thought duel ATI cards would of been better than than one crossX single card for the m17x??? I will be ordering from US and shipping to Australia.

I would personally go with the 17. There isn't a big difference in size, and the 17 has been updated more recently as well (the 15 has no HDMI port!).
