I've been hearing so many horror stories about how long building/shipping takes that it's a relief to hear of someone getting theirs in a week.

the m15x actually doesnt take that long to build now. back in the begining there was a lot of shortages on parts. it took about 2 months to build a m15x. now its way faster. im guessing the m17x will start getting faster soon since its just a repeat of what happened with the m15x. i had to wait 1 month and a half for my m15x to start building since i also one of the earlier owners.

I think they learnt there lesson from the m15x because i ordered my m17x on the 9th of july and im on phase 6 atm and it should be shipped out tuesday or wednesday so i think they are handling the m17x a bit better then they did with the m15x

Haha, you guys are lucky. I purchased mine in June and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. No harsh feelings though, I'd rather have them do a good job on it than give me one that's of bad quality.

Hey bro, got similar specs on mine, it arrived in Norway while I was 15 days away in Australia.

Anyways I got the Vista with 64 gig SSD drive too. damn Vista eats up 30 gigs bro. don't expect to have much space left over after installing 2x 8 gig ram. you'll have like 10 gigs left. but its fast as hell and beautiful and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

    enjoy it

Nope but I will. Although the smart bay hdd can't be good for storing or instaling games as the cd/dvd needs to be in the drive when using it.

I'll order one to keep other files on though as some point.

If you use direct 2 drive and other companys that have the same setup so I dont use cds. All you have to do is download the game. So dvd and cdrw. I say woopie.

For smart bay they are useless untel they are holding more room.

For the people who go bla bla bla on me. They are the ones that are shooting there own foot for the cost of the drive.

Or you could use Daemon tools lite, create an ISO and boot from that, install the game from a usb CD drive the once... no disc needed then...

BUt, i agree with you, i'm going to use the 500Gb smart-bay drive for media, iTunes etc.

Yup, that's what i'm going to do, unless i download them from Valve etc.

I'm at Phase 4... Not sure how quickly the process works but, i ordered mine last Friday so only this week from start of order to now... seems quite quick so far from phase 1 to 4...

I'm only going to remove the smart-bay HDd for watching DVD's/Blu-ray's lol
