    Hi,

I have a problem with my 8800gtx drivers. The story is:

I decided to update my graphics drivers. I think they were 182.xx, or something like that. So i downloaded the newest ones from laptopvideo2go. I uninstaled the old drivers, did 2 registry cleans, restarted the laptop etc.

But after I installed the new drivers, after a few mins of gaming the screen suddenly turned half purple and then turned off. I tried to restart, same thing. Had to unsinstal the drivers in safe mode. I then tried various other drivers, same effect. In fact, its getting worse. Now even if I try official alienware drivers (the 175.xx beta), my screen goes crazy before I can even open a program.

Any ideas guys? sitting on integrated graphics is not fun :(

Definitely, it seems like a hardware related issue. Please try reinstalling the drivers from our support site and reseat the video card. If the issue persists, please contact our technical support at your earliest convenience to have this matter resolved accordingly.

    Thank you.

Just reseated the graphics card, same story. Installed official drivers, but the card did not operate well and my screen went crazy after 2mins... the laptop then restarted (I think it got a blue screen of death).

Can anyone remind me the button you need to hold while powering the laptop to boot with integrated graphics?

Sorry for the double post but I just want to attract Alienware-Armando's attention. Now the screen does not even turn on with 8800gtx enabled, so there's probably something wrong with the hardware.

Can alienware just send me a new card instead of me sending the laptop? Because sending it is a pain, and I've done it two times already = 2 months without my laptop.
