    Got it in March 08.
Hinge cracked in Oct 08, sent in for repairs. Got it back mid December 08.
Hinge cracked AGAIN, sent it in late January 09.
    Got it back today.

No hinge cracks, no paint imperfections (like last time), NO CREAKING.

Even though AW keeps getting my zipcode wrong, I'm happy with the results of my second hinge repair.

And oh man, the m15x is so HUGE after using the ASUS EEE 900a for the last month.

    Thanks Kevin!

I would love that so much you have no idea.

I mean, it took me 3 screens and hinges to finally get a set that doesn't creak when I open it.

Congrats Koshinn, I also just got back my M15x hinge repair back today. This time I heard they order new parts for the hinge. I am happy with the result too. No more creaking sound, less wobble and feel more sturdy

If that's true, I'd rather have my money back so I could get a Macbook Pro. In my opinion the AlMBP (aluminum macbook pro) is the absolute perfect laptop except in 3 areas.
1: no HDMI (display port instead, but seriously... HDMI is better)
    2: no 9800 gfx card
    3: Express Card /34 instead of /54

I don't know man...I wouldn't want to go back to a weaker GPU if I had such a 9800 beast. But, that's just me. It's like why have a hamburger when you can get a big juicy piece of steak!

I do think that applies to car and most likely other things. Does the hinge problem fall under a lemon law thing?
