    hi guys
    i accindentally purchased an Non-illuminated keyboard for my M15x from UK
    i was intend to buy an illuminated keyboard but so sad they dont sell separate part yet! is there anywhere tat i can buy it? and one more question about is there any different with my M15x motherboard? is it ready for illuminated keyboard? anyone can help plsss!! and sorry about my poor english :D

    Alienware would be the only place you're going to be able to get that specific of a part... you're either going to have to wait, or find a friend in the US where I believe you can get the part shipped to you.

    they're all the same... everything inside of the system was made to be modular, you're only missing the keyboard component.

    you can also add aftermarket memory, turbo memory, video cards, harddrives, and if you're skilled enough, even replace your DVD drive.

    For the M15X as I know it has 2 keyboards. One illuminated and Non illuiminatd. Keyboard setup I heard a few people who wanted to change to illuinated keyboard and they can not becuse there keyboard would not support it.

    This is also ture with the frist gen M17X

    So does it mean all i need is jus buy an illuminated keyboard to replace it and everything will work fine? wat about the setting?
