Open the lid. (Sorry, I just had to :D )

Hardware Monitor works well for me. You could try that.

Well, don't grab the lid by the corners; open it from the center. That'll prevent unnecessary stress on the lid or hinges. You shouldn't have a problem if you take care of it. Good luck and post some pictures when you receive it!

    1. Install 3d mark06 and run some scores!

    2. Install the latest Nvidia Drivers and then tweak your settings!

    3. Install a crap of games and play everyone of them for at least 5-10 mins!

    4. Come back here and post your result on your scores and performance!

    you all have it wrong....

    1. day before (or two) go to liquer store and purchase poison of choice...
    2. measure distance from front door (delivery point to the new owner) to watercloset (bathroom, restroom, head...etc)
    3. have an emergency action plan in place so you can make it to the watercloset in shortest time possible after taking receipt of m15x and during game play.
    4. retrieve poison of choice.
    5. clear any and all appoinments on calander for two days. this includes wedding anniversaries and/or GF's birthday...
    6. take the phone off the hook, and turn off cell phone(s).
    7. have the pizza delivery guys number at hand for sustinance.
    8. after two days at the helm, take a shower and rejoin society.

    Peace. :D

basically, copy the state of your HDD right when you recieve it to a series of DVDs. then, if you, HMHMM, the computer f*cks up, you can just pop the discs back in and restore the system to its virgin, fresh-out-the-box state.
