    m15x time from order recieve to build start?

    Hi people, i'm new here. recently i bought my dell/alienware m15x, to be precise on the 7th. I reside in Singapore, so work is handled by the malaysian side. Just curious, has anybody in this area ordered one too? It has been 4 days and they have not started work, is that normal?

    Oh and as a side question, does the 15x support the hacked synaptics multitouch drivers?

    Not sure about the drivers, and the fact they have not started work in 4 days could mean they are low on parts, you could contact dell and ask them i guess as 4 days is quite long to be doing nothing. I'm in the UK and it took 1 day to start processing my laptop and 3 days to ship it, though it could be a little different where you are. Hope this helps.

    yeah i certainly hope they are not low on parts. online order doesn't say they are low. but yeah, i think its time to give them a ring.


    guy i bought from at dell direct said it was ETA 2 weeks though... but i'm starting to doubt it...
