I'm wondering if alienware will take my m15x and let me trade it in for a new m17 and just pay the difference that it would cost. I'm hoping to do this when the new graphics cards come out. anyone know if they will or wont?

If they wont how much do you guys think it would sell for?

    2.4 ghz t7700
    geforce 8800m
    4g ram
    200g hard drive 7200rpm
    1440 by 900 screen
    vista premium

    no case dmg
a little over a year old got it right when if came out.

    Thanks guys

I guess the best way to answer your question is just to give them a call and see what they say. :)

Also, if you get a wishy-washy answer from one person call back and try to talk someone else until you get a definitive answer. :D

If it's in good condition, to find out a price I would simply go to AW's website and configure your same build, and think about selling it at 50%-75% of that.

Also just look at what similar models are being bid up to on eBay or similar sites...

    Hope this helps! :)

no chance. you might get a couple hundred store credit, but never, ever the full price.
