    m15x underclocking

    For some reason my m15x is underclocking I can cpuz cpuid and its only running at 1600 mhhz I have the 9000x processor and its should be running at 2800mhz. Is their any way I can tweak it back to the normal cpu output power?Please help as of right now I cant play any games!

    Im not sure exactly but my Dell XPS M1530 underclocks when it runs on battery power.

    Are you getting 1.6Ghz when on battery or when your connected to a power supply?

    Check that stealth mode isn't on, and also check that it's in High performance mode. Oh and also give it something to do. Speed step will lower it when idle to reduce heat.
