During these week, the temperature dropped to the 40s.
There was one morning when I was trying to start up the laptop, all the light(keyboard, alien head, etc) light up, but there is nothing show in the screen.
I then turn it back of(by holding the power button) and try it again.
It still doing the same thing, until I restart the system for the 10 times, then I can hear the fan running and the startup logo show on the screen.
Is it something wrong with my system?
Or it can't handle the cold weather???

theres no such thing as not being able to start because its a bit cold. try unplugging the m15x taking out the battery. hold the power button for 1 min. and then plug it back in

When I press the power button, all the lights light up,
    but the screen is blank.
    I didn't do that before,
It just happen when in the past weeks

I do not suspect as I heard very strange sounding issues with computers. there was a guy whoz computer would not start on some particular day of the week. thanks to external factors.

Try to isolate the issue by first making sure that it boots in first time if it is warm. Try a hot air blower, may be a hair dryer? Use the hair dryer on full to warm up your machine for say good 15 minutes. push warm air in and out from all vents. then if you feel it is warm enough for it.. give it a boot.

    It's not an engine lol.

Though I sometimes have this trouble - not in cold weather though.
I hold down the right key to turn on the laptop, that usualy works for me.
Note: Holdingthe right key will automaticaly put it into intergrated!

I tried it but still, it won't start up at the first couple times
A couple days later, when I tried to start it in the afternoon,
    it start normally
I will try to warm the computer up later when the weather is cold
and see if it does help

Laptops, like most consumer electronics are designed for indoor use (with the exception of cell phones). That is, most of the electronic components within the notebook are rated to operate over a limitied temperature range, typically
0C to 80C (GPU and CPU range extended to a higher temperature). Even so, 40F should not be low enough to prevent your computer from booting up.

It would be interesting to know how widespread this problem is. You are probably one of only a few people who use their 15X's outdoors in 40F weather.

my sony won't start if it's room temp...

I have to push the start button repeatedly before it "catches"
    and then it turns off...
a couple of more start buttons and it trying again...
then gets to the start page and turns off...
    try again
    then finally opens..

or I can set it near a heater for 5 or 10 min and it starts right up

if it's been on recently( and is warm?) it starts rigth up...

It’s flooded, hold the accelerator to the floor, this will enable the clear flood feature, and crank it till it starts. ;)

Seriously though you would think that being cooler is better, it’s either a coincidence or maybe the cooler weather is allowing moisture to form, but that is highly unlikely. So you are saying it starts normally every time indoors?
