I have a Asus g1s. Runs at 1680x1050 at ultra resolution. It runs ok. But if I lower the resolution it speeds up. Movement is about 2x faster. at 1024x768. So I was wondering how well this ran on the M15x? ANybody with the 1900x1200 screen?

Just bought it today but beats me cause I can't even play it till I get my m15x which won't be for a while.

Dunno if it helps, but in vista it rates the game min3.3 and recomended 4.1. My system is 4.8 overall thanks to ram. gpu is 5.9 and cpu is 5.3

im going to take an educated guess here. then latest rts i played on the m15x was world in conflict. that ran @ all high on native res with 30 + fps usaully higher (40-60). but once i switched up to very high. i got a lag and fps droped by almost half. considering this game is just an expansion pack for an older rts game i think it would be fine. if not maxed then at least almost maxed with great performance. make sure you get the 8800 though.

So anybody here played C&C3 yet? On my home computer it plays at full speed, almost too fast. I wish they kept the slowdown command.
The Asus is slow, but juuuust a tad too slow with everything on. -
Yes I have it and it plays on ultra high with no problems.

Hey .RanT. You mean it moves at the same speed at either 1920x1200 and 1024x768? Theres a movement speed maximum so the speed would be the same in both.

as far as C&C3 goes (not Kanes Wrath... working with it right now) I can max everything with my trusty C-140x on battery (even though the battery can power the GPU properly... so that is saying something)
Kane's Wrath seems to be on the same well built engine... -
anybody play totalwar on m15x???
