there might be 2 problem and each of them is enof to creat the trouble you are describing the beta driver might have some instability and the fact that you haven't followed the driver instalation sequence is sure to create trouble

    here it is

take a look there for the drivers them selfs

Driver sequence installation isnt THAT important, just always remember the fundamental thing, chipset first then the rest :p Thats probably the major thing that might cause the drivers to conflict.

i.e the m17 is widescreen but the games are square in picture

pro evo has border top and bottom

grid has the border each side

:( so sad its shocking id wish i left the laptop alone.

can any one also help or know what ive done wrong here.

    thanks all :)

kcuk can you try something for me ? I was waiting for the 9.11 to come out to test it but since you have the issue might as well test it on you :D

Change your res to something lower than your native. Open CCC, go to Graphics -> Desktop and Displays, right click the laptop on the bottom left corner and go to configure, then select full screen and press apply/ok.

See if that fixes the black bars please :)

Did you install the latest chipset drivers and in general all the windows 7 drivers instead of the vista ones ?
