    m17 backlight on battery

    hi, sorry i cant seem to adjust my backlight when its on battery, it appears to be locked on low, anyone know how to solve this? thanks

    have you tryed to take a look @ "energy options"? I think you can set it there.

    yep the backlight isnt locked at low in the power managment options

    have you tryed to set it to max and than (I hope you understand what I mean^^) "turn it down" with the FN + ? button?

    yeah just doesnt budge off low so annoying, works fine plugged in

    managed to fix it, i applied what you said...

    i restarted, made sure the backlight was full before it got to windows, and that fixed it :) thanks for your help
