Hi kcuk, we have not tested the M17 with Amilo external graphics box and would not be able to verify that it will work.

The 26pin Express card slot in the M17 supports one ExpressCard/34mm or one ExpressCard/54mm expansion card. It is not compatible with PCMCIA cards. It uses a serial bus supporting USB 2.0 and PCI Express instead
of the slower parallel bus used in the PC card slot of old.

    Enjoy your day!

My understanding is that the Amilo external box doesn't combine graphics processing power with the internal card(s). So basically, by using one, you'd go from 2 cards (internally) to 1 (external).

it's not worth it. expresscard = max of 1gb/s. any graphic card would have many performance issues.
    pci-e = 16gb/s
