    Random off-topic question; where do you download the beta version of Windows 7?

    (Haven't read anything on it, but I'm fairly confident I'll want to try it when I get a new laptop.)

    Wait for the RC1 to be released soon, but you can find all different builds of win 7 off of any torrent site.

    On the W7 website it says that they stopped giving away beta keys, but rest assure there are other ways of getting past this nitch ;)
    (when you do PM me lol, I wasn't planning on trying w7 without an external to back up my files but I just got a new hitachi 640gb 7200rpm external for 70 bucks today on my doorstep)

    yea but win 7 is built on vista ....

    the sleep issue isnt as laggy when it haqppens though that must be why i didnt notice until i used the sound
