Hi
since I realiced, that I recived the wrong lid and this after around a month^^ i decided to take a closer look to see whether some thing else isn't "right".
And I found something. The "space" is not placed right ... first I tryed to push it back right but it didn't helped, it still doesn't "sit" right.
Here a picture in the attachment: (the right corner is higher than the left)
Do you think the "problem" would be solved by aw? It isn't that big but still it is still there![]()
Greetings
Julian

dude, you're under warranty, and that's a defect
90/10 they'll ship you a new one. -
Greetings
Julian
PS: I decided to tell them that thay send me the wrong lid but that I want to keep "the wrong". -
depends - if you want it done as fast as possible, phone, since that'll always get you direct replies. if you want records of the conversation, obviously email.
in this case, phone might be smarter. explain the defect (might wanna throw in that a few keys are wobbly or sometimes not registering to make your case more important) and ask what your options are. since the m17's keyboard is fairly easy to remove AFAIK, they'll probably ship you a new one.

THX! I'll phone them tomorrow or do you think the "workingweek" AW guys are more "helpfull" than the "weekend" AW guys?
Greetings
Julian -
AW-Germany has "weekend" guys? i never knew... just hope you get the chick. she's dead helpful. the two blokes, ho-hum. the german one is kinda snobbish, but the foreigner (balkan or something, not wanting to get racist here) is fairly good too.

ah, yes, sommer was here name. lovely person. of course, my memory of here might be tainted by the fact that she was the one who told me that the phase page showing me a 23-day delay of my system was an error

German power woman!
Why do you call the german support? Your english is quite as fluent and perfect as that of an american^^

i dunno, i figured it'd be easiest since i ordered from the german store. no clue how AW organizes their database, so maybe an english-speaking agent would have to go searching for my file etc.
plus, if i have a problem, and an english-speaking CS agent wants to troubleshoot, i'd have to mentally translate all the stuff from the menus etc from german to english, and vice versa. -

yup. i'm gonna switch to English though when i migrate to Win7 in december. why, you running yours in English?
-
) ... but after a wile I downloaded the german and now I use the german version.
I thought the english version would make it easyer for me to use the english guids to solve problems ... but it didn't
