    Hi

I know this is a silly question, but it is still one^^

I see some write m17 and others write M17. I also know this is more or less equal, but I want to know why some write it this and some the other way ...

    Thank you for infos :D

    Greetings
    Julian

PS: I just want to make it right next time^^

i think it goes like this....

    m15x
    m17x
    M17

those are as AW has them on the site. so to be exact, i would guess then M17 is the correct way to write it.
but then again, m17 is easier then hitting the shift key.... :)

according to Alienware's site, these are the notebooks' names:

    - M17
    - m15x
    - m17x
    - m9750

so only the Whitebook-rebrand is written with a capital "m", the others are all lowercase. of course, most people just write all lowercase since they're just lazy forum-dwellers :D

I would say it's obviously with a M. I suppose it stands for mobile but it deserves a big M for the weight, as in MOBILE in a Heavy way.................................

They have mine listed as M17 in shipping status.

I dont think it really matters much on if its capitalized or not.

On the Alienware site it has all the other laptops as m17x, m15x, and m9750, but the M17 is capitalized.

Ditto means "same as". Like in pokemon you know? there was a creature called ditto that would transform into which ever other creature. haha
