The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hackintosh?

I only like to use Mac OS if its on a Macbook which is a very high build quality laptop, has the best multi-touch trackpad and also is amazingly beautiful at the same time.

Mac OS alone? On a M17x? No thank. Windows is much more advanced.

Currently, Apple's EULA(End User License Agreement) prohibits installing MAC OS X on any non-apple labeled hardware, and because of this, NBR does not allow discussion of OS X on PC(aka Hackintosh) for any reason. Also, please do not point to any resources that violate Apple's EULA and/or the forum rules.
