Had problem today with Raid 0 for some reason, one of the hard drives deicded to give out on me, So i pressed <crtl - I> removed the RAid 0 and then re-enabled it again so this deleted the hard drives anyways..

I did a full re-install of the system via the Recovery CD, then I used the modded drivers from this site fir the 3870s all was fine i thought.. but now whenever I try to install something like say "WOW" it bogs down the system it gets laggy and slow and the sound keeps cutting in and out and its on anything I do to install...

Is there a certain procedure to follow on a install besides just using the Recovery CD, cause there is also a Support cd with chipset drivers and such...

Im thinking it is a driver issue or some sort of sequence you are suppose to follow to install the drivers and maybe Vista doesn't like it?

Not sure anyways any help here would be appreciated

It's most likely from the Sleep.
Reboot and do not allow it to sleep and install the game again, see if the problem occurs again.

thanks, but nah its not a sleep thing, this is what I did..

used the recovery booted from that, did a install a vista 64, then as soon as that was done i used the support cd to install and the drivers one after antoher, rebooted and then tried to install wow and then when i get to the "lich king cd" the install bogs right down, sound and performance gets coppy.. this is really odd?
