Seems I see very few posts in the forum (as of late) relating to this laptop, good or bad, is it performing as you expected and you are happy or are there just not that many of you?

Its was my secondary choice when shopping Alienware laptops but it jumped in price quick when upgrading and on a budget of 3k.

Are you happy you went for a single video card, dual cards?

    Just curious.

Actually the M17 is probably the only Alienware that's not insanely overpriced...

Me, I like having the full number keypad on the side and the 17" screen. I like it even though it's hefty... it's solidly built and the Ripley design makes it a point of curiosity for bypassers. It's my black slab of power! Of course, I got it pretty much maxed out... but the company paid for it, so no worries on my pocketbook!
