    Hi!

It seems many people here managed to install windows 7 on the m17x...
I bought mine one year ago, and i have no luck with 7.

I tried the RC version (downloaded today), but i have that annoying "cd/dvd driver" demand, and of course i can't go on...

I also tried the RTM and OEM versions to see if it would change something but same result.

If I install 7 from vista, it works, tho, but after the installation i dont see the BDrom at all, not even in the device manager.
Some people said it was an iso issue and to redownload it, but obviously it doesn't change anything. I have a BD player and tried the 64 bits version.

I also tried to back up all my drivers then load them when asked to do so, but it never accepts them.

Does someone had the same problem and resolved it?

Also, for those who have installed 7, did you make everything work (lights on the keyboard, etc)?

    thanks!
