HI guys, does anyone know (Armando or James possibly) if current m17x owners will be offered a free or small charge upgrade to Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

It seems the m17 is being shipped with it and as many of us have been waiting for a 64 Bit option without losing the Command Centre etc.

Will an upgrade be possible whilst being fully supported by Alienware for waranties etc.

    Thanks

    OB

Yeah it would be nice OB. But would they send us a new windows disc?

Oh and besides using all 4 Gbs of RAM, what other advantages does 64 bit have over 32?

If you have a Vista 32-bit license, you can install 64-bit with that same license. You just need to get a 64-bit Vista disk.
