I am trying to do a CPU upgrade on my m17x. I got the following guide on how to do a Heat Sink reseat from alienware.com
http://4help.alienware.com/cgi-bin/...nBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9bTE3eA**&p_li=&p_topview=1
On steps 6 and 10, I cannot figure out how to remove the 2 touch sensitive panels. And I would hate to break something on my m17x.
Can anyone help guide me please???

if the touch sensitive panel is what I think it is (the panel above the keyboard), then, in my experience, after you remove the two screws, you'll also be faced with trying to un-snap the panel.... snaps have been a plague of laptop systems since they were invented.... there's such a high probability of breaking it that it's stupid... I mean, the chances are probably still below 40% (if you know what you're doing), but still, that's way too high for any laptop system.

If someone could post the directions on what 2 screws I need to remove, I would greatly appreciate it.
I do not have an Alienware account and I cannot access the 2 other tutorials on how to remove the panels. -
Is there like no m17x owners out there that can help me out?
-
there is like 3 owners that i have ever seen sorry ...not many buy it because it was overpriced

That just sucks... I guess I am the 4th owner of the overpriced m17x. Dang it...
If there is anyone that can help me, I would be willing to PayPal you $20.00 for your assistance... -
Nevermind, I figured it out... New CPU installed and working perfectly...
