HELP GUYS!!! I've browsed forums, Google'd with all kinds of keywords, and tried many different revs of drivers but still unable to find the solution to this issue - after installing the Realtek sound driver, the sound work but "mixer" option is not available, see below:

The mixer functionality is very critical as I am trying to record both the game sound and my own mic input simultaneously.

 Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi ideinit,
I'm just curious as to why you aren't running vista on this system. Is there a chance that it would work with vista instead of xp?

    Thanks,
    Gabe

It came with Vista and the mixer worked... but due to company's IT restriction, Vista isn't an approved OS.

    Realtek.

GabeZ, thanks for getting back to me.

    Hi ideinit,
Give that Microsoft update a shot, and see what happens. Here's to hoping it resolves it.

I'll keeping looking around for solutions. I'm guessing that you're running Service Pack 3.
