    Hey folks,

Anyone had any experience with ASIO on their m17x?

I'm having problems getting the asio4all driver to work properly, it either refuses to see any output devices at all or it fixes on the RealTek HDMI output only.

Anyone recommend any ASIO drivers? (I'm using the integral high def audio, not an external card).

    Thanks a lot...
    J.

I was unable to find an answer to this anywhere on the web so I've ordered an external USB audio device that claims to support ASIO.

This problem is now resolved with the purchase of a Edirol UA1 EX usb audio device for £46....works beautifully with ASIO.

(Just for the record in case anyone searches for this in future)

I am using ASIO with my notebook... with an M-Audio FW1814 external soundcard.

I prefer XP 32-bit and an external pro-audio soundcard to do the audio work.

The Realtek on-board sound and the consumer level Sound Blaster junk will not cut it.
