    m17x driver for windows 7 webcam

    Does anyone have the driver for the m17x windows 7 webcam? Or a link to it? I cannot seem to find it. Thanks!

    When I spoke with Tech Support I asked about this. My understanding is the default W7 driver is the correct driver. There is no Dell specific driver as W7 works. The R2 is the same.

    Yep, BatBoy is correct.
    I was having issues with my webcam after the "updated" CC was released then retracted and it took me having to uninstall the webcam from device manager then rebooting and letting it install the default windows 7 driver.

    Oh, and if you installed the creative webcam program (in compatibility mode) I would suggest removing it as it is REALLY buggy for win7 and will cause you nothing buy headaches (ie.. working one time, then not working.. then not showing available, then multi-colored lines then............. ad nauseum)

    Once I removed that creative webcam program, uninstalled the webcams (yes webcams as the creative program creates a virtual webcam that causes all sorts of issuse), ran CCleaner then rebooted and let windows install the default Win7 drivers everything has been working like it should.
