I did a search for my service tag on dell's site and got this:

What does this mean? Does it mean that i have NO warranty with dell?

Help me out.. im having a hard time understanding why i dont have the basic dell warranty.

    Thanks

    Alex

Call Dell and find out. You should have the standard 1 year warranty.

I think you missed the 'note' below the service tag search box. See attached image. Fill out the form and you should be fine.

I did with mine, I was able to tack on another year and add complete care to the unit.

You added complete care after recieving the Unit?

Arent they supposed to only do complete care when shipping out (ie if you drop it, add complete care after)

Unless dell changed their policy, you should be able to add CC or extend your warranty at any time during initial coverage. I added CC coverage to another unit roughly 3 months after receiving.
