    When you go to device manager and click on processor, what should it display? QX9300 or Q9300? I had to rush out the house and do a lil shopping and could not tell if mine said QX9300 or Q9300. I will check my laptop when i get back home.

    It lists Q9300. Normal - don't worry about it. My CPU is also from HP.
