Is that normal, or do i have a bad screen?

When it's the native resolution, it looks just ok, but when i make ever thing bigger, it looks great!

I am going to go out on a limb here and say you're not using the native resolution when it just looks OK.

No, when i have it set to the highest resolution it kinda sucks, but then when i set it like in the middle of the slid bar for the resolution, it looks amazing.

    Is that normal?

kay. in that case, use whatever settings suit you best. just don't forget that you won't be able to complain about a "bad monitor" anymore :D

Go to display properties in control panel and tell us what resolution you're on. Go to device manager and tell us the part number of your LCD.

The LCD should always look better in its native resolution. LCDs have a 'pixel grid', unlike CRT monitors, which is why they only look sharp in their native resolution.

Could you take a screenshot of your display on the lower and the higher resolution (press Print Screen, then go into Paint and press Ctrl + V to paste, save as a .JPEG - then attach it to your post)? That way we can see whether it is something software related or not.

Sure, by next week i will have my system back.
Maybe it's just my eyes that thinks it looks better, but i'm sure it looks richer then my native.
